Welcome to ClassroomAuthors portal (hereinafter as "portal"). The portal contains a number of different services that can be used by registering for ClassroomAuthors account (hereinafter as "account"). The portal is provided to you by Tri-State Associated Services, Inc.. (TSAS) USA. The portal may be used without registration, but in order to take full advantage of all the features of the services and tools, you will need to register for an account. The portal is provided by TSAS on an "as is" and "as available" basis and TSAS reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the portal or a part of it, in its sole discretion, at any time and without notice. You agree that TSAS is and will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the portal.
To register, you need to provide personal information, such as your username, e-mail address, school and the password for the account to the service provider. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify TSAS immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security at info[at]ClassroomAuthors.com
3. Use of portal
The portal is only for your personal and educational use. By using the portal you accept these terms and you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity is expressly prohibited. You acknowledge that you are responsible for what-so-ever content you submit, and you have the full responsibility for the message, including its legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality, and copyright.
NOTICE: YOU MUST BE OVER 13 YEARS OLD TO USE CLASSROOM AUTHORS. IF YOU ARE NOT 13 YEARS OLD, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE SIGN UP PROCESS FOR A CLASSROOM AUTHORS ACCOUNT WITHOUT VERIFIABLE CONSENT FROM A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. PLEASE BE SURE YOUR PARENT HAS PROVIDED WRITTEN CONSENT TO YOUR SCHOOL, ORGANIZATION, TEACHER.
You agree not to use the portal:
· to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any content that is obscene, offensive, blasphemous, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable;
5. Use of your personal information
You acknowledge and agree that TSAS own all legal right, title and interest in and to the portal, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the portal (whether those rights happen to be registered or not). User owns and retains sole and exclusive right, title and interest in and to all of your user content. The portal may enable users to develop derivative works based on other users' content. In that case, however, the copyright is owned by the user who created the original work and not by the user who developed the derivative work. TSAS may remove your content submitted to the site, terminate the accounts of users or prevent access to the site by users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
7. Acceptance of Terms
You acknowledge and agree that TSAS may use any content (including text and images) submitted to the Classroom Authors portal, to promote or inform others of the Classroom Authors offerings. You acknowledge and agree that TSAS may advertise on the site and may send you advertising by email. You may choose to opt-out/unsubscribe from receiving advertisement at any time by following the link at the bottom of each email.
If you want to terminate your account, you may do so by (a) notifying TSAS at any time by sending a notice, by writing, to TSAS. TSAS may at any time terminate its agreement with you if:
Termination of your account includes any or all of the following: (a) removal of access to all or part of the services within the portal and (b) deletion of your password and all related information and user content.
11. Storage Policy
At this time, TSAS provides free online storage of your content to registered users of the portal. However, you acknowledge and agree that TSAS may, at its option, establish limits concerning your use of the portal. TSAS shall have no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any content maintained on the portal and you are solely responsible for creating back-ups of your content.
TSAS will take reasonable precautions to protect personal information in the system from unauthorized access, use or disclosure of personal information or user content, but expressly disclaims any and all liability for the accessing of any such data communications by unauthorized persons or entities. You agree to (a) immediately notify TSAS of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.
13. Contributions to Classroom Authors portal
We appreciate our customers' interest in improving our services; however, please note our policy on external idea submission: By submitting ideas, suggestions, documents, and/or proposals ("contributions") to TSAS, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) your contributions do not contain confidential or proprietary information; (b) TSAS is not under any obligation of confidentiality, express or implied, with respect to the contributions; (c) TSAS shall be entitled to use or disclose (or choose not to use or disclose) such contributions for any purpose, in any way, in any media worldwide; (d) TSAS may have something similar to the contributions already under consideration or in development; (e) your contributions automatically become the property of TSAS without any obligation of TSAS to you; and (f) you are not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement of any kind from TSAS under any circumstances.

Information We Collect and How We Use it
When you register with ClassroomAuthors account, we ask you to provide personal information, such as your username, e-mail address and the password for the account. We use this personal information to communicate with you, to inform and take contact with you. The information may also be used in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding unauthorized use of the services. If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use.
We also collect anonymous, non-personal information, such as your IP address, the type of browser you use, your browserÕs language, your web request and the date and time of your request. Such information does not identify you individually. Non-personal information can be used, for example, in marketing, auditing, to provide or to improve our services and also to develop new services.
We also use "cookies" to collect information. When you visit the portal, we send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. It helps, for example, the service to recognize your saved documents. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Except as noted below, TSAS does not share your personal information with third parties unless you give us your permission. TSAS only shares personal information with third parties in the following circumstances: We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this policy; In order to provide products or services you have requested; There are other instances in which TSAS may divulge your personal information, such as when required by law, regulation, or litigation. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure should be made for reasons of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
TSAS may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular term for example, or how many users clicked on a particular advertisement.
TSAS takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We restrict access to personal information to TSAS employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
